Josiah Cuneo is a sculptor and musician born in Boston Massachusetts. Using tactile materials and a sensitivity to visual composition Cuneo creates works that are a personal reflection on our social environment. Using a broad palette of mediums in which to present his ideas, Cuneo has worked in video, performance art, photography, painting and sculpture. Having studied with such forward thinking musical composers as Yusef Lateef, Mark Dresser, and Archie Shepp, he has incorporated many of the methods used in contemporary music composition into his work.
